Tune in to hear what you’re missing!

What to Listen to this Weekend

1 The Glass Cannon Podcast

The Glass Cannon Podcast

What is the Glass Cannon Podcast? Well, in the spirit of old school Dungeons and Dragons, a collection of five super-nerds (Joe O’Brien, Grant Berger, Matthew Capodicasa, Skid Maher, and Game Master Troy Lavallee) emerge blinking from their parents’ basements to engage in an actual play campaign of Paizo’s epic Pathfinder adventure path, Giantslayer!

This week’s episode is bonkers.  You definitely don’t want to miss it!  Here’s the synopsis:

With another room cleared, the party stumbles upon a collapsed wall opening to a series of tunnels within the tomb.

Here’s the link: Episode 180: Trilling Them Softly.

2 Androids and Aliens

Androids and Aliens

The aforementioned GCP crew take to the stars in an all new campaign in Paizo’s newest system: Starfinder. As a direct result of the Patreon support for Glass Cannon, they’re working through the Dead Suns AP in an all new podcast, and they’ve brought along a new cast member, Ellinor Dilorenzo!

This week’s synopsis:

The crew gets caught up in the search for a missing professor who specializes in the information they seek.

Tune in to Episode 31: Doctor Where.

3 Fortunes Untold

Fortunes Untold

Fortunes Untold is a show where a group of gamers get together and review different tabletop RPGs. But they don’t just tell you about the games, they show you how they play. The crew tries out the rules, test drives the setting, and at the end of the adventure they hand out Experience Points and see if the system levels up.

Last week they wrapped up the Demon Hunters review, so now they’re on to Alternity; a tabletop RPG engine from Sasquatch Games designed for science fiction adventure across a wide range of genres.

Alternity campaigns can be set across the spectrum of sci-fi genres: from hard sci-fi to space opera, or post-apocalyptic wastelands to alien conspiracies.

Get ready to ride the Thunder Run! The Thunder Run adventure scenario uses the new Alternity RPG rules to throw the players into a screaming heavy metal death-ride across the wastelands of eastern Washington—the appropriately named Scablands.

Here it is: Episode 6!

4 The New Path Podcast

The New Path Podcast

The New Path Podcast is dedicated to the Pathfinder Play Test created by Paizo Publishing, Doomsday Dawn!  The team dropped not one, not two, but THREE episodes last night.  They tackle the PFS (Pathfinder Society) scenario “The Rose Street Revenge;” still within the Play Test’s rules.

Join our Game Master Adam as he runs Hannah, Wes, Matt, and Casey through Paizo’s Pathfinder Play Test – Doomsday Dawn!

Give them a listen here!

5 Find the Path Podcast

Find the Path Podcast

We’ve written before about our love for Find the Path, so I’ll point you there.  But the tl;dr version is that it is a live play show that is playing through the Mummy’s Mask Adventure Path for the Pathfinder RPG from Paizo. If you aren’t familiar with Mummy’s Mask, think ancient Egypt and you have the general vibe!

This week they dropped Episode 30: The One With Revelations on Death and Curses.  Here’s the synopsis:

Welcome Pathfinders! Once again the party has split up! As Sagira and Sudi go to the market, Sitra and Onuris talk with Sebti and sort the auction items. Sitra discovers a secret about her family history and Onuris learns he has more in common with Ptemenib than he thinks…

Enjoy the episode here, and tell them NoE sent you!

Happy listening!
