The Find the Path podcast is an officially-licensed partner of Paizo, the makers of the Pathfinder roleplaying game. Comprised of a group of longtime friends, the Find the Path podcast invites gamers and non-gamers alike into the world of Golarion and the Pathfinder RPG system.
Known for their strong grasp of the Pathfinder rules system and genuine, cooperative table dynamics, Find the Path tells an engaging and exciting story set in an Ancient Egypt analog that is full of diverse, multifaceted characters and epic fantasy adventure.
Their ability to seamlessly weave explanations of the rules into the story makes listening smooth. Along with high quality audio and a respectful attitude toward each other and listeners, Find the Path has built a vibrant, positive community.
When you visit the find-path.com website you are greeted with the words, “Actual nerds. Actually playing.” I can give those words the Nerds on Earth Seal of Approval.
Nerds on Earth receives a lot of notes from podcasters asking us to boost their show. But by chance, I actually discovered Find the Path myself, just a few episodes in. I enjoyed those early episodes of the podcast so much that I wrote a feature on the podcast where I called it Brenden Frazier’s mummy meets the Amazing Race.
Rick (the DM of Find the Path) sent me a quick note to thank me. We had never met or interacted before that time, but long story short, that was the beginning of us becoming buddies.
I now consider Rick a friend, so that’s why I am thrilled that Find the Path is now an officially-licensed Pathfinder podcast. I’m also thrilled Find the Path has launched a Patreon which will allow them introduce a second actual play podcast, this one playing through the Tyrant’s Grasp Adventure Path.
But our friendship aside, I never would’ve highlighted the podcast had it not been really, really good. Now, a couple years later, it’s even better, an officially-licensed partner, and they are launching a 2nd show.
Actual nerds. Actually playing.
