One of my frustrations concerning Dragon Ball Dokkan Battle is the inability to see the color of the boss you’ll face at the end of any of the Quest missions. To remedy that for my own sake (and now yours!), I kept tabs on the colors as I played through each mission once again so that when I decide to tackle them on Z-Hard I’ll know which color to make my 7th (wo)man. It is all about strategy!
Nothing frustrated me more in the game than picking the stronger of the Friend options only to find that they were weak against the boss (and therefore the lion’s share of the goons) of that level. Wasted recruitment? No more! Now you can strategically stack your team to your advantage.
This is a pretty useful tool. I keep the list open on a tab on my phone while I play for reference’s sake.
Besting the Baddies Via Color Coordination
A Gloomy Parallel World
After the Tournament: Boss is red, so go with blue.
Pursuing Mercenary Tao: Boss is green, so go with purple.
Unrivaled Assassins: Boss is blue, so go with green.
Reinvestigation: Boss is green, so go with purple.
Invasion of the Warrior Race: Boss is blue, so go with green.
The Ultimate Life Form!
Premonitions of Doom: Boss is purple, so go with orange.
Ghost Town Investigation: Boss is green, so go with purple.
Mysterious Ki: Boss is green, so go with purple.
New Enemy: Boss is blue, so go with green.
Malicious Android Cell: Boss is blue, so go with green.

Squad Leader: Boss is green, so go with purple.

Turtle School Trial Lesson: If you stay straight at the nimbus intersection, the boss is red, so go with blue. Hanging a left or right at the intersection will pit you against a green, so you’d want a purple.
Revenge of Crane School: Bosses are blue and purple, so choose either green or orange.
Crane School Pride: Boss is red, so go with blue.
Fierce Fight for Honor: Bosses are blue and purple, so choose either green or orange.

Alien Warrior Encounter 1: Boss is red, so go with blue.
Alien Warrior Encounter 2: Boss is green, so go with purple.
Alien Warrior Encounter 3: There are 3 green enemies (minor) and the boss is red, so I’d go with blue.

Intensive Training: Bosses are red and orange, so go with either blue or red; whichever your team needs most.
