3. Comic Book Resources has a Redesign
This piece of Friday nerd news is very inside baseball. But CBR is the longest running and largest comic book website, so the fact that it sold to a media conglomerate and got a new layout is a pretty big deal.
Gone are the columns and highlighted now or more clickable headlines. Online spaces are changing and it’s under stable that sites want to make more money, so shaking our fist at the cloud won’t help. So let’s pour one out for the old CBR, and joyfully jump into what the future of the site might hold.
UPDATE: Panels.net (another comic book website) is shutting down and consolidating as well.
