Welcome back to MSF Mondays!
Each week we break down one more aspect of the hottest mobile game, Marvel Strike Force!
Campaign events are absolutely my favorite new character release modes. While some people might complain about the drop rates, I very rarely miss out on a 4 star character in these events, and often I am unlocking a 5 star! That is great considering you don’t have to put in much time in game if you play these events well!
The next campaign event is the White Tiger campaign event, and while there is a bit of mixed reactions to the Shadowlands team, I implore you to take this event seriously for a variety of reasons!
Here is a good video on the event by MR F2P MSF on how to maximize this event!
MR F2P expresses some concern about lack of info going into this event, however he and Boilon have great videos of these types of events, so if you want to know very specific details, give them a watch. But the main points are generally the same, so make sure to follow these steps and you will max this event with minimal effort and resource cost!
White Tiger: The Early Campaign Grind
As you begin the campaign you will of course assemble your team of 5 toons and power through the nodes. I always recommend focusing on 5 toons that you will want to level up regardless of the event.
I am going to give my top 8 (non-legendary) recommendations for this event in hopes you can make your team of 5 out of these suggested toons:
- Symbiote Spiderman
- X – 23
- Ghost
- Yellow Jacket
- Black Widow
- Vision
- Mysterio
- Vulture
- Domino
You won’t regret pouring resources into these characters if you have them unlocked and ready for this event! As you progress through the campaign, you want as many 3-Star unlocks as possible, so then you can go in each day and cruise control with auto win with your daily energy!
Even if you hit some nodes that you can’t 3-star, you want to get the first victory rewards, so keep pushing forward.
Campaign Cruise Control
When you do this, make sure to always go to your furthest progression point and work backwards. As you collect orb shards I recommend hoarding and opening all at once, but I get it, we play a game on our phone cause we are all about that quick fix! So do what you want to with your orbs.
Your goal should be a 4-Star character unlock and you could possibly get all the way to 5-Star with lucky pulls. But don’t be dismayed if you don’t get all White Tiger in the middle column of these orbs, because there are a lot of other characters worth getting through these orbs.
In fact, the reason I am going hard in this event are the chances at other characters than White Tiger! I will explain who and why at the bottom of this post.
Campaign Energy Refreshes
If you have been wondering what to do with extra core currency, this is what you have been waiting for! I use all my 50 core energy refreshes for normal campaigns and often for ISO. Any other cores I have, I spend in these events! You want to maximize you orb opportunities!
Additional Campaign Event Benefits
Landing Hard-to-Farm Characters
- Ghost
- Kitty Pryde
- Shatterstar
- Longshot
- X-23
- Yellow Jacket
- Yelena Belova
Saving Valuable Currency to Farm other Characters
Ghost and X–23 are both in the WAR store. War store currency is incredibly valuable and the WAR store is JAM-PACKED with top tier toons. Why spend when you can save 1,300 credits at a pop with every 5-shard increment?
Save Time In-Game
Yellow Jacket is the toon that caused me to miss out on Jubliee because his node is tucked way at the end of Doom 3, He is absolutely top of my wish list for none White Tiger drops because I don’t know when I will unlock his node, nor do I like messing with farming nodes because RNG.
Well I hope this helps you take your Squad from a D+ to a B- Commander!
